What if I can’t pay my bill?

- Financial Assistance
Piedmont Healthcare understands that not all patients have the ability to pay their healthcare bills. We offer financial assistance, based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines, to patients and guarantors who are uninsured or underinsured and have received medically necessary services. To obtain a copy of the policy and/or apply for financial assistance, please visit our Financial Assistance page.
I have received multiple statements related to my procedure. Why?
Services provided by non-Piedmont employed professionals will be billed separately. This may include but is not limited to anesthesia, pathology, lab work and radiology. Please contact the service provider directly with any concerns regarding their charges.
How will I know what is covered by my insurance?
Piedmont provides a free online estimator tool that can be accessed on our Prepare for Your Visit page. If you are unsure if your service is covered, your insurance company can provide your benefit details.
