Columbus, Ga. (February 12, 2025) – Join medical oncologist/hematologist Suresh Nukala, M.D., with the John B. Amos Cancer Center at the next Walk With a Doc event on Saturday, March 1, at Woodruff Riverfront Park in Uptown Columbus. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., followed by warm-ups and one-mile walk at 9:30 a.m.

“Join me to learn more about colon cancer and free screening opportunities throughout the month of March,” said Dr. Suresh Nukala. “I’ll be there to answer any questions you may have, because we want to empower people to take charge of their health.”

Walks are held on the first Saturday of the month and each walk covers a different topic. Event participants meet and walk with local healthcare experts, asking questions or learning more about a particular topic.
