About the Brain Tumor Center

The Piedmont Brain Tumor Center is recognized worldwide for its innovative, cutting-edge treatment of benign and malignant tumors in the brain and spine and metastatic cancer that originates elsewhere in the body.

Our doctors are leaders in neuro-oncology, using the latest diagnostic and imaging tools to provide expert treatment for brain and spinal cord tumors. We can combine standard treatment options with the latest precision technology and innovative, cutting-edge clinical trials for every patient. Through minimally invasive surgery and targeted therapy, ranging from Laser Interstitial Thermotherapy (LITT), to Convection Enhanced Delivery, Fluorescence-guided surgery and stereotactic neurosurgery, including Gamma Knife, we minimize the effect on surrounding normal brain tissue to optimize neurological function and quality of life and survival.
