Piedmont Code of Conduct

Piedmont Healthcare (PHC) is committed to providing compassionate, world-class care to our patients and conducting business in an ethical and honest manner and within the bounds of the law. This Code of Conduct is intended to provide employees, physicians, volunteers, vendors, governing board members and other agents with guidelines for conducting business in a manner which satisfies this standard.  

The Code of Conduct compliments our mission, vision and values; integrates the “Piedmont Promise” and applies to all who provide services under the auspices of PHC or its affiliates.

The standards contained in this Code of Conduct are important, and therefore any violation will be handled in accordance with the Progressive Disciplinary Policy, as outlined in Human Resources policies or other applicable policies and procedures of PHC and its medical staff. In addition, referral of certain matters will be made to government and regulatory agencies as appropriate.
