Piedmont Osteoporosis & Bone Health Center
Piedmont Osteoporosis & Bone Health Center uses a collaborative team approach to provide comprehensive bone care. With the help of Piedmont Orthopedics, Endocrinology, physical therapists and our hospitalists, we provide treatment for osteopenia, osteoporosis and post-fracture conditions. Our providers have undergone extensive training in managing bone health and deliver outstanding treatment and preventive therapy to minimize complications resulting from bone disease and recurrent fractures.
With on-site access to X-rays, DEXA scans and an infusion suite, we base your personalized treatment recommendations on individual bone density, laboratory testing and comprehensive evaluations.
Osteoporosis can lead to bone abnormalities that put you at increased risk for fractures. This can adversely affect your daily life activities (ADLs) and quality of life and may lead to an early risk of death.
